For a debutant director Aathi deserves a pat on his back for trying to be daringly different and breaking away from conventional formula films. Silanthi is worth a look.
Though the movie could be enjoyed only in parts, congrats Aathirajan for dealing with an issue which is relevant to the society.
What is notable is creating an erotic mood without any vulgarity. And, it is a brave attempt by the director to break away from the conventional formula.
“Silandhi” is an experiment in new cinema reflecting the changing mores.
