‘Aadatha Aattamellam’ is a movie sans any thrills and is more preachy and tacky.

On the whole for connoisseurs of quality cinema, it’s a must-see-must-watch, as Priyadarshan comes off age.
While the last half hour is truly moving, Kanjivaram would have been an instant classic if Priyadarshan had given as much attention to the first half as he’s done to the second.
Perhaps Priyadarshan does overreach, at times, in his attempt to grab at the things that possibly drew him to cinema in the first place, but considering his overall achievement, he completely earns our indulgence.

How long will Sarath Kumar go on doing double role as father and son? Sorry to say, the film is as avoidable as migraine.
The movie which has adrenaline-pumping action is advised strictly for those who love to see action films. With logic less stunt sequences and wafer-thin screenplay, 1977 is a let down.
1977 might have worked had it been released in 1977 and not in 2009!

What begins as a different film fizzles out to give a deja vu feel.

An engrossing screenplay with no lagging moments bringing the audience to their seat-edges sums up ‘Yaavarum Nalam’.
On the whole YN is a film you’ll find hard to get out of your head, days after you’ve leave the theatre.
For true-blue mystery and spook-lovers, here’s the movie you’ve been waiting for, complete with heart-thudding thrills that’s actually logical. A must-watch.

GV Films and Lakshmikanthan’s TN-07-AL-4777, is a smooth and lovely ride. Take a trip on it.
Hop on this taxi with discretion: the meter’s okay, the tyres are good but there’s no trusting the man behind the steering wheel, so the ride’s bound to be a bumpy at best.
All said, the very fact that it is a remake lingers on our mind ever since the word go. But for others, it is a movie sans any bumpy ride.
