Overall, Bheema has lived up to the expectations up to a large extent. Lingusamy and his powerful team have succeeded in presenting an action oriented entertainer. True to its name, Bheema is a power packed action entertainer.
Bheema has all the trappings of a blockbuster — and it may yet become one. And yet, when you compare it to the panache and magic of a Saamy or a Dhil … there’s something definitely missing.
Overall ‘Bheema’ is a mass entertainer with all masala ingredients that would definitely satisfy the long awaited hunger of Vikram fans… I would give 6 out of 10 for this movie!!!
For pure lovers of action, Bheema might just be the Pongal movie they are looking for, but those expecting an action movie with a strong story will be disappointed.
Lingusamy should have paid more attention to his script instead of trying to extract more heroism from his larger-than-life hero. And the biggest weakness is that his hero always wins and the opposition just does not have a strong enough villain to counter him. It ends up as a one-sided Australia versus Bangladesh cricket match! End result? Bheema is a big New Year let down.
