Director Anand has come out with a sweet movie with a nice message that shows how an adolescent mind due to immaturity falls to infatuation. However the trouble with the film is that it moves at snail pace, and is made like a mushy television serial.
Kanna-Pleasant and Spectacular.
The movie stands as a good example, a signpost to a refreshing genre in films.

ிகச் சிறந்த திறமையும் பெரும் ரசிகர் பட்டாளமும் விடாமல் போராடும் குணமும் மிக்க மிகச் சில நடிகர்களில் ஒருவர் அஜீத். அவரை சரியாக பயன்படுத்த தவறிவிட்டார் இயக்குனர். இனி நல்ல டைரக்டர்களை தேர்வு செய்வதில் அஜீத் கவனம் செலுத்துவது முக்கியம்.
All in all, Billa is definitely worth a watch. Or two. Or three or more!
Overall, the film can be watched once.Don’t take your kids and waste another 100-150 rupees. Don’t expect anything (new) as in DON 2006.
In a nutshell, Billa is style without substance.

Kalloori might be devoid of action, item songs and glitzy costumes — but what it gives you is the real deal. And reality is always much more interesting than fiction.
“Kalloori” is miles ahead of loads-of-crap that come along masquerading as “tamil cinema”…!!
Overall, the movie is has natural narration, amazing visual quality, effective music and credible performances..
Verdict: Good.
